Do I need to pre‑register online for the Visa on Arrival?
Yes. Since March 3, 2025, Namibia introduced an online Visa on Arrival (VoA) pre‑approval system, which is available via the official e‑Services portal. Although you can still apply in person upon arrival, pre‑registration is highly recommended to skip long queues and obtain a faster entry process.
Where can I obtain the VoA?
The VoA is issued at major ports including Hosea Kutako International Airport, Walvis Bay Airport, and main land borders such as Ariamsvlei, Oshikango, Katima Mulilo, Mohembo, Ngoma, Oranjemund, Noordoewer, Trans‑Kalahari, and Walvis Bay Harbour.
The online e‑VoA can be used at the same entry points, except for a few small border posts still excluded
